Painted on location in Peninsula State Park, Door County, Wisconsin, during the 2023 Door County Plein Air Festival. It was a smoky, hazy morning and a gentle rain started as I was almost finished. By the time I packed up it was a downpour! Happy I was able to capture this scene when I did...that's the challenge of plein air painting! Was $975, now $200 unframed.
