Sanctuary

This piece was painted on Day 2 of the "Where in the World Is" Plein Air 2015 event on June 11, 2015. I painted this on location in my back yard in Ralston, Nebraska as storms were rolling in and I was afforded the protection of my gazebo by setting up my easel inside it. You can view three videos that show the progress of this piece here: http://www.whereintheworldispleinair.com/2015-artist/debra-joy-groesser/ This piece will be available through Greenwich House Gallery in Cincinnati, Ohio as part of the American Impressionist Society's 2nd Annual AIS Impressions Small Works Showcase.
